"Dog Gone!" is a family story about two kids who raise a guide dog puppy for a blind war veteran and street musician. When his guide dog starts "singing" along with his music, the pair soon become a popular attraction. When the greedy owner of a traveling animal circus sees their act, he is smitten with envy, so he steals the dog, disguises it as a chocolate lab and puts it to work in his own circus.Without his guide dog, the blind musician is distraught and helpless. When a formal search fails to locate the dog, the two children who raised it as a puppy continue the search. By recruiting their computer pals. they managed to locate the dog in a nearby city. They rush to its rescue before the circus can move on. But the evil circus owner foils their plans and drags them into the lion's cage. They are soon rescued however, and everyone lives happily ever after.
